Another of our vintage ships’ clocks with rimmed back, this one made by Seiko. It’s slightly bulkier than the Kappa version though very similar in style. This one has been stripped of its original paint and the steel polished.
With a classic face design, this would look great in any room in the house.
The original workings, which ran off a ship’s electrics, have necessarily been replaced by a very reliable quartz battery version – one AA battery required. Three small holes in the backplate allow it to be screwed to a wall (or you could easily drill a single hole in the back if you’d prefer no fixings to show).
