These industrial wall lights, probably 1960s, were rescued from a factory in Birmingham. You can read all about them and our refurbishing work in our blog post here.
They have a pleasing shape, verging on the Art Deco, and very thick holophane glass. (Holophane glass is identified by its narrow prismatic ridges, which diffuse the light – you can feel these as you run your finger inside the glass of these lights.)
Polished back to the original aluminum, removing layers of peeling paint in the process, these industrial lights now have an elegance that would suit multiple applications.
