A lovely vintage ship’s clock, salvaged from an ocean-going vessel, manufactured by Cooke & Son of Hull, who have been making maritime instrumentation for 150 years.
The case is steel with brass-plating, which may be showing signs of wear in keeping with its original usage at sea.
The clock is opened by unscrewing a brass fixing at the side of the face, to reveal an electronic clock mechanism, taking one AA battery.
The time can be altered using the ribbed wheel on the mechanism.
These clocks are very hard to source and we only have a very limited run in stock.
