We were delighted to acquire this very large, exquisite balanced-arm lamp created especially for BBC1’s Money for Nothing by artist blacksmith, Bex Smith.
Upcycled for the show, the piece features a vintage green enamel shade, attached to a long wrought-iron arm, with counterbalance on the opposite end. The counterbalance can be moved up and down to alter the angle of the light. The electrical flex resembles rope, to enhance the industrial nature of the lamp.
The base is a steel drum filled with concrete and very heavy – so please contact us for a shipping quote.
An exclusive opportunity to own this one-off piece by a rising star of the art world.
Precise dimensions to come; approximately 6ft high, 7ft arm, shade 16 inches diameter.
