Our ever-popular version of the vintage aluminium fresnel-lens ship’s pendant light is back in stock. (Just as we sell out of the copper fresnel pendants!)

We had these exclusively copied from 1960s Russian nautical pendant lights, which are now impossible to find.

They work brilliantly in any domestic or commercial setting, particularly as booth lighting or hung above a bar.

The design is exquisite and the lighthouse-style fresnel lens really sets this apart from other pendant lights. It comes in three main sections – we assemble for you, bar the shade which is easily attached – a cast aluminum base and top section, joined together by three steel rods, and the aluminium shade itself. The original stylings of the vintage Russian light have all been captured and retained. Brass wing-nuts add contrasting detail.

The fresnel lens has the effect of diffusing and softening the light emitted from the bulb.

Besides this aluminium version, we also sell this ceiling light in copper (available for pre-order here) and brass. The aluminium, copper and brass shades can be swapped around, if desired, as we’ve done here.

These pendants are exclusive to us at Any Old Lights.
